Get refreshed and inspired at InspireSong - Aspen Colorado, May 18-21 2017

Hey all,

If you need a breath of fresh air, and a boost to your songwriting creativity, you should come out to InspireSong 2017 in Aspen Colorado, May 18-21 . I don't get anything from this promo except that I made some really good friends last year and I want to make some more.

There's something to be said for getting songwriters of all skill levels together in the same environment. One of the attendees last year just signed a songwriting deal to work with Matthew West, one of the mentors. The founder and mentor of InspireSong is Keith Mohr of IndieHeaven and Derek Brooks, worship pastor of the host, Crossroads Community Church.

Last year, Matthew West, and Benji and Jenna Cowart wrote a song in front of our group. Matthew started performing the song live, as have a host of other churches represented at the event. More info on the birth of this song:

Next May, Matthew, Benji and Jenna, and other top songwriters from WORD Worship (Tony Wood, Matt Armstrong, Daniel Doss, Jonathon Lee) and Grammy Award winning producer/songwriter Seth Mosely have signed on to be mentors. It's going to be a fantastic time to Create with the Creator!

There's also a songwriting competition ($25 processing fee). The winning song will be performed live at InspireSong 2017, produced by Seth Mosely, and there was discussion of publishing by Jonathan Mason of Word Worship.

Plus, you get to meet ME!

Note: As I'm not officially affiliated except as a raving fan, don't quote me on the details. Look to the website for official information and to make your arrangements:

Thanks for sharing about this event! I take you are a songwriter yourself? We'll be running our next songwriting contest here at WTR very soon... probably after the first of the year. Stay tuned!

Hi Nathan,

Thanks for the heads up! I need to get my songwriting back in gear. I haven't written any new songs in over two years. Well, not true. I did co-write this fun ditty while In Aspen at last year's InspireSong.
