Hello fellow worshippers! I am looking for music for our praise team to do for our Easter program this year. I am not wanting to go by way of a cantata, short musical that you can get from Brentwood or any company like them. My desires for our program is to take the scriptures from the Last Supper through the Resurrection read as a narative and incorporate solos, duets, group songs and a dance or two to enhance the reading of the scriptures. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of songs {traditional, contemporary) that would be suitable for a small group program. Thank you for any help you can offer. Blessings!

As far as original songs on WTR which could be used for Easter:

I have a song called "Jesus Is Alive" - it is track 12 on my profile page.

Elman Authement has a song which I co-wrote with him called "Jesus' Blood" - it is track 9 on his page:

Stephanie Lawrence has a song called "At The Cross" - it is track #1 on her page:

I have uploaded the mp3s the songs to this posting.

The chord charts for all 3 songs can be downloaded for free from my website:

If you don't mind a home-grown song, take a listen to All I Have on my page. It would tie in with the words of Christ, "Apart from me you can do nothing" John 15:5, which is a good thing to remember at Easter.
Thanks for the suggestions and links. I will take a look at and listen to them this weekend as I work on putting together everything for Easter. Thanks again and if you think of anything else, please let me know. Blessings!
