In order i liked

1. Burning eyes (your first song)

2.Things aren't what they seem

3. - was unable to to play ( wasn't there)

Gina : you have a very unique sound and a way to paint pictures with words, If your like me your journey between songs to minister to the world and songs to minister to the church has been up and down,  i would like to say, your style is great and just keep writing, write whatever comes to your heart no matter what style,  the style of your choosing or a style that you may not like so much, i think you are a creator that's why i encourage you to create flowers, and venus fly traps, haha, but just continue to have fun in your craft,  I love your voice and your words and the chords you used in both songs, i was tossed between both songs because i couldn't decide which i liked more, piano or acoustic, so just do both. :)  Great Job!

Vic: He made our voice so he gets the first fruit of our melodies!  Thank you for writing songs I enjoyed your passion and your heart, I know the lord does to brother!  I like your approach in communicating sermons and your creativity to teach through lyric through truths in the song.  You also had some good guitar chord progressions and melodies brother!  Keep it up and write much more because he's worthy, and this passion you have is of God. - Erik

I hope it is not too late to do this. I would like to let you listen to 5 worship songs. Roughly recorded on my iPhone. I have enjoyed listening to everyone's great songs. This was a good idea.

In order I like

1.Dim with Grief

2.What Kind of Faith

3.Strangely you have chosen

4.The race already won

5. love divine

Brian,  I love your vulnerablitility in Dim with Grief which by the way is a really cool song title.  I know it's a real personal song but i could just really feel in my heart things i go through and the melody and lyric brought me to that prayer so thank you for that.  The presence of God's peace is strong on this,  I really loved the Intro on What kind of faith, and the song is just a great song altogether, i'd personally like to hear the intro one more measure before you start singing the first verse on What kind of faith,,  and I like how you phrase your words in your songs,  'What kind of faith have I and in other songs your choice of word phrasing is really cool,  Strangely you have chosen is a beautiful song brother!  the verse and the chorus are absolutely beautiful... the epic psalm was integrated well lyrically in strangely you have chosen and again the phrasng 'strangely you have chosen' very clever.   I think all of them have potential to be taken further into higher production, i really think What kind of Faith have I, would be a great start for higher end production  and see how that turns out.  Bless you bro.

I will enter hoping for some insight on which of these may be worth making better recordings.  Rough demo's on all five.  Lyrics are posted in the "show more" or description area at each link.  All Christian, but mostly CCM, not intended as congregational worship songs.

The Race Already Won - https://soundcloud.com/brilawmusic/the-race-already-won

What Kind of Faith - https://soundcloud.com/brilawmusic/what-kind-of-faith

Love Divine - https://soundcloud.com/brilawmusic/love-divine-rough-demo

Strangely You Have Chosen - https://soundcloud.com/brilawmusic/strangely-you-have-chosen

Dim With Grief - https://soundcloud.com/brilawmusic/my-eyes-are-dim

My thanks in advance.

Thank you very much Eric!  I appreciate the additional feedback that you gave to me and to the others who shared songs.  Much more than I expected, and very encouraging.   All of this will help me decide which songs to make proper demos for submitting for publication.  I don't have the equipment to do that on my own, and I have only so much money to pay for studio demos.  This can be an expensive amateur venture. :-)

I have to give Charles Wolff the credit and thanks for his suggestion on the title of "Dim with Grief" when he offered feedback on it a few months ago.  I had titled it "My Eyes are Dim", and he suggested the better title.

Here is my order of preference for Vic's list of songs:

1)  Hold on to You

2)  Can't Stay Here (though I really like how this one stood out uniquely)

3)  Many Things

4)  Harvest

5)  Time to Listen

I do want to say that it would be helpful if you posted the lyrics to each of your songs in the song-description area.  You can add lyrics there on SoundCloud at any time by using the edit feature.
