Hi everyone. I'm new here . This ia very simple child like song. I hope not childish. I've not tried it out on my church yet. I'm wanting any advice you can offer. it's quite short in this recording. Do you think I should do the chorus after every verse or save it till the end? It may be that it's not suited to a congregation singing it so maybe I just just sing it solo on the guitar during a quiet time in a service. What do you think? Is it a congregational song? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVME8PQxxwQ&feature=youtu.be

It seems quite appropriate musically / lyrically for congregational singing.  I see you've posted a bunch of songs on youtube, I'll try to get back and listen to some more...

Thank you Charles

I agree, the song would work fine in a congregational setting. Yes, it is simple, but that's not a bad thing. :) I would definitely not do the chorus after every verse, but would probably do it after the 2nd and 3rd verses.

I suppose it would be short if not repeating the chorus after each verse but the whole song could be repeated if if it was felt that the Spirit led it to be repeated.

Simple is good.  I also agree, it's ideal for a congregation as it can be picked up very easily.  It's a song that needn't be written in stone as there is lots of scope for messing around with, for example, you could whap some harmonies in there and improvise til your heart's content if you wished to unsimplify it.

Thank you. That's very helpful
