That's from Jeff Brumley, a Seattle-based bassist who I've known for years on the ChurchBass mailing list. It's very good although fortunately doesn't actually reflect my church playing situation that well.

Brotherbill, I notice that when I play with strangers I have to adjust to them a lot which normally makes me think up some different tricks and techniques. (it forces me to have a new perspective.) If you're in a rut I might recommend trying to sit in with some new people for a session.
