Let me chime in on this one, since I started this group way back when. My intention was to have a place to post our unpolished works to get feedback to help make them better songs. That doesn't exclude well recorded works that the writer may want to take back to the studio and tweak. Just be forewarned if you post something here expect feedback . So if you have no intention of changing a thing about your song this isn't the place to post it
Also ther is no reason why you can't post a non worship song here but do get ready for the not for worship comment unless you flag it as such
I am happy this group has thrived all this time!

@keith: I totally agree! As it stands, we'll re-record next year anyway. There is just a level of comfort that the feedback one will receive from a group of sincere Christian folk is genuine. I was excited until a week or so passed and then I thought, maybe the song wasn't "worshipful" enough, so I deleted it. Thanks for the input.

I don't recall there being any kind of restriction other than the assumption that Christian songwriters are helping each other with their songwriting.  I wouldn't want to get too nitpicky on the lines between praise and worship and whatever because I don't think there is so much traffic on this site that we need to have such constraints and limitations.  I also don't want to have to second-guess whether or not someone honestly wants feedback - I assume that if they post it here they are sincerely seeking feedback, no matter how polished they may sound.  With my own limitations, my songs, even so-called "finished" songs, may never sound polished.  Some commercial artists don't even hold their original recordings sacred, and will continue to "tweak" them throughout their careers (Dylan, for example).  So if you have a song, don't keep it under a bushel - post it.  :)

Though, it was a personal comment... not sure I speak for everyone! There is a group called "The finished works" which is supposed to be for finished songs, I think.
