I lead with an acoustic Taylor 410 and an Ovation Balladeer. Have a boss Tu-2 tuner first, Zoom A2 and a boss super chorus for a little sustain. All into a Marshall AS50D amp. Really only use the Zoom if I want a 12-string sound. Be careful not to over-pedal a beautiful guitar!

Also, considering the amp types in the XTL, you can plug in directly so there's no need lugging a heavy amp all over the place :-)

I use a Pod XTL with a plexi variac amp type and green 25s. For the acoustic, I plug directly into the Live as well with no amp type.

I am now officially my church's electric guitarist and worship leader. I used to only play acoustic, but now I do both equally. I play on a VOX AC15 CC1 tube amp. My main axe is an American Tele. I use the Line 6 dl4 delay, a radial tonebone Classic distortion, a maxon od9, and thats basically is, I have reverb and tremelo built into my amp, but I think my next pedal mite be an MXR carbon copy. Its a delay, but thats the main effect I use, and the Dl4 has been acting stupid, if you buy a dl4 get a warrenty, because the switch's on the pedal will most likely break.

God Bless.

Hi all,
I currently use a Boss Gt-6 & Ibanez TS-7. Thats a good combo for worship
service. I can play clean , smooth or Dirty as they come.( I think the young
word is "Nasty"). I'm in my Fifties , when I came along when you got Nasty, You took a shower. HaHa I also Own a Digitech GNX-3000 It's a little more complicated , doesn't sound as good. I do like the 2 sets of outputs. I believe you can get to many effects and lose the guitar. I play : Fender American Custom Strat, American Tel, Gibson Les Paul, the les is the special one . Wine Red Gold Hardware..
See you'all

yo tengo un boss ds2 para los sonidos overdrives, un rat deucetone por si aparece algo mas pesado en el repertorio, un boss dd7 para efectos de ambiente, un cry baby original para todo uso...

Hey all, I took the easy road and bought a Boss GT-8. It is fantastic, it may be the last one I'll need!
I use it for both my acoustic and electric!

If anyone needs a Les Paul adapter for a Roland GK-3 pickup, I just dug mine up and have no need of it.

I have a Zoom 504 acoustic, but am looking for a simple addition to help get more depth to the sound. I was contemplating a Behringer Chorus pedal (because they are inexpensive). I see that a few of you guys use a Boss Chorus with an acoustic electric. Do you use this pedal very often? What sort of situations would you use it?

My church setup is pretty straight forward. I have a pedal board with an old Boss ME-30 that I use for mostly reverb, delay and modulation effects as well as a master volume pedal. Ahead of that I have a Tonebone Classic and Hot British tube overdrive pedals and a Fulltone Clyde wah (which, errr doesn't really get used all that much in chuirch). I'd like to get one of those Moogerfooger ring modulators or Murfs for synth-like sequences.
