Fretted stringed instruments, vocals, some keys and percussion.
About Me:
I am the worship pastor for eastpoint church in midwest city, ok. I have a wonderful wife and terrific friends. Praise God.
Favorite Music:
If it's not too cheezy, I probably like it.
(Edit - since the above phrase generated so many responses, I decided to list some of my favorite music. I don't categorize music by "Christian" or "Secular", so...)
Dave Matthews, Charlie Hall, Derek Webb, Fresh Sunday, Shane and Shane, Sherree Jane Chamberlain, OAR, David Crowder, The Fray, The Afters, Jack Johnson, Johnny Cash, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Chris Thile, Snow Patrol, Robert Randolph, Starfield, Stevie Ray Vaughan, U2, Lenny Kravitz, Switchfoot, Jimi Hendrix, Coldplay.....
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
Romans 12:2 (The Message) Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge in the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.
Thanks bro,and did you know Dave Mathews is South African, yeah ;but in order for him to achieve his dream he needed to go abroad,UK and US, well sometimes we need to step into new areas be it a new church,a new country a new company and yes thats what i am about to do, i am serious about getting what GOD has given me outside beyond the four walls.BLESS YOU LUIS

you wont believe this - just checked your profile - this is one of my favourite verses as well - one of the two i posted prior to seeing yours - amaaaazing!
Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge in the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.
I like this comment of yours re praise and worship:
"I typically am not concerned with aligning the songs specifically to the pastor's message. Occasionally he'll request a specific song, but that's about the extent of his involvement. My main goal is to establish a good flow of worship."
McAlister. Great town. We visited there several times before my wife's parents passed away. Hot and humid in the summer, but I still liked going there. This is a great community indeed.
