About Me:

My nickname is Bettybird given to me by the conductor of our local theater company where I play. Came about during the production of The Secret Garden where the piccolo is the voice of the Robin. I have played music since a small child and I have been a Worship leader for about 15 years. I play in our local Theater pit orchestra, Civic Orchestra, Silver Winds Flute Choir, and jam with my folk friends at the local coffee shop. Currently God has called us to a new assignment where we are helping the congregation grow in their Worship experience. Two years ago I helped them start a Praise Band and they are doing great. Everyone has grown so much and yet I see so many more things God wants to do through this church. My darling husband supports me in so many ways. I tease him that I am always "campaigning for a new instrument and selling the old one is totally out of the question". God bless him, he feels like he lives in a music store, but keeps on buying me those instruments. My newest baby is a Taylor 312CE. Just love it!! and love Him and him to death.

Oh I like it all. Except country I'm afraid and Opera. I try, but I just don't seem to get it.

Yikes, there are so many, but I guess the one I would choose would be Ephes 6:19 "Pray for me also, that whenever I open my mouth words will be given me that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel."
