About Me:
My passion is to live a First Commandment life of dwelling in deeper and deeper in love with Jesus. I also have a passion to help others come into a deeper knowledge of the love & life of Christ through worship, service and song. I delight in singing to the King and and I'm blessed to lead worship and minister in song for conferences, retreats, and groups as the Lord leads & empowers-- and especially delight in soaking and spontaneous worship. Occasionally, as an overflow of a grateful heart, I write and record some new music or encourage/collaborate with other worshipers in finding their voice in song. (Some of these collaborations and other kids songs are loaded on the player.) I've been forgiven much and therefore I love much....

Our home church is Faith Bible Chapel International where Mike and I serve in various worship capacities.

The SONGS: the stories....

Beautiful -- speaks to and for all 'little girls' who have fallen prey to societal lies and pressures. The Lord bids us : Come Away! I listen to it again from time to time to remind myself of God's take on the whole beauty thing! The amazing Steven Abeyta caught this vision and helped form a beautiful piano part. Thanks Steven.

You -- A light worshipful song written from an exuberant heart to fun music written by the very talented Mike Levesque! This song wrote itself as the music just needed a mouth and mine was available... (Mike we need to finish this one day!?)

Eternity -- A new song. I didn't know at the time why I was writing this -- but I couldn't stop. It came pouring out one night really late after days of feeling deep sorrow. Now I know. God willing, we'll continue developing this for "In Your Midst Ministries" and "A Safe Place Abortion Recovery Center". So thankful to have connected with the inspiring Mary Comm - founder of these desperately needed ministries. (Steven Abeyta on keys again).

Letters Home -- This is a song inspired by a letter left behind by Matthew Murray to his wonderful parents & my beloved friends; Ron and Loretta Murray. Matthew this is your are home.

Trust -- set to the sweet music of Mike Levesque, this song to me is a breath of fresh air as it reminds me to TRUST the one and only! We all know what it means to free fall into the lap of the Father. I've written more verses and a bridge .. just need to get this one re-recorded too!

Child of Promise -- This is for my dear friend Loretta. Though we can't see the fufilment of the promise through the haze of grief... a promise never dies. (Steven Abeyta piano)

Father's Calling -- Another song born of the tragedy that speaks of God's constancy. When Matthew was driving to New Life Church toward the horror, his own father was calling him .. and calling him... and calling him. Cell phone records revealed that at every turn of these events, God was continually reaching out to Matthew through the voices of his family and friends. God was not caught unawares...he was calling. (Steven Abeyta piano)

Going Through -- this is for David and Marie Works. I can't imagine what you are going through.. but I know who is right there with you. (Steven Abeyta piano - rough demo)

Emmanuel -- I love the word and the meaning of Emmanuel or Immanuel. I just love singing about God with us... [Imanu'el (עִמָּנוּאֵל "God [is] with us" consists of two Hebrew words: אל (El, meaning 'God') and עמנו (Immanu, meaning 'with us'); Standard Hebrew ʻImmanuʼel, Tiberian Hebrew ʻImmānûʼēl). It is a name used in the Bible in Isaiah 7:14 and Isaiah 8:8. It also appears in Matthew 1:23 in the New Testament.]

Final Bow -- Ever write a song, poem, letter ... that you didn't want to write? This melody gave way to the story of one in the last stages of life as they approach their final bow. Although I didn't write it for any one person/circumstance.. I'm afraid it could be claimed by far too many. I personally know too many who've gone on too young.. especially mothers who fought valiantly with breast cancer. Mike Levesque music again... :).

The Song in Me -- This is rough .. and way long..rambles.. and meanders. Based on the experience of my friend in the grocery store as she witnessed a mom who 'missed the song' of her little one. How many of us can relate to getting caught up in the race and running over the song in our most precious... My sweet Mike plays guitar. I've cut it in half ... now need to redo.

Into Your Hands -- Mike Levesque handed me a demo of music he called "Into Your Hands" and this song emerged it fragments that gently strung togather. This recording is pretty rough.

O God -- so many Psalms include this prayer.. O God. I say it a thousand times a day. (M. Levesque music - AGAIN)

The Other Side -- a song concept written to Mike Levesque's track for all those trapped in the hamster wheel of self promotion, ambition and works -- from one who was trapped for a long time. I've written the finish to this... yeah yeah .. one day.

The Voice that Rages -- This is a spontaneous song that emerged when I listened to an instrumental from Steve Burgess.

For Heaven's Sake -- A children's song from Naptime Productions, Inc.

Always -- I think of this as a love song Mary would have sung to her sweet Father while pregnant and pondering ' the sacred within' her. Dramatic... and oh so very long. Forgive my self indulgence on this one I just get lost in the vision....

Aprill's Fool -- This is the first 'grown up' song I ever wrote. It is inspired by a young 19 year old woman I met while I was still a Hospital C.O.O. (another life...) She was a patient who was airlifted to us in great distress. Her airway had closed off with cancer and she was placed in an induced coma for quite awhile. I would secretly steal away to hold her hand, pray for her ...and weep. God used her greatly as she yeilded to his mighty hand. Even lying in stillness, God's power coursed through her to 'heal hearts' and 'erase scars' in every one from attending nurses, to hardened physicians to her own splintering family. God miraculously healed Aprill and last I heard she was starting nursing school in New Mexico. I pray that God continues to draw many to him through her mighty testimony.

No Way -- Children's song about saying NO to the enemy... sort of the basics of spiritual warfare. Kids seem to get it so early!

Show and Tell -- a Kids song about evangelizing and being our best for Jesus.

Stay Awhile -- I guess 7 years of living in Oklahoma left me with a little bit of country... This is a fun song to sing .. although I think I tried to put on a Johnny Cashy vocal to it that failed miserably! HA! It's just a good reminder of the joy in being with God who "bowls me over with a big bear hug" daily! (fun fun fun music by M. Levesque)

Times A Wastin -- Fun kids song about letting go of anger and drinking up the cup of love!! Kids seem to love this reggae grove and the message.

Wild Vine -- All those inner voices, parts and pieces of me that go astray. The wild vine of our human condition and the God of patience that tames us with His love. Groovy M. Levesque music again.

One More Time -- God never tires of re-breathing me from the dust! (rough recording to sample based track :~)-gotta start somewhere!)

Driven...or Called?

I'm rather cloudy today and have zero time to really get this down -- so this sentiment is likely to wander ...

I am worried...of late...or rather deeply concerned about the degree of idolatry that is everywhere I look. In reading about Gideon today in Judges I was so moved and again inspired by how intimately God led him to victory. I've often wondered about how God might wisely handle our all to frequent self-centered prayer requests. The other morning my little girl came bouncing up to me as I stood leaning bleary eyed over my decaf and gleefully proclaimed "Mom ... I want Bologna!" I was working aroung the house the other day while my little girl watched a program on PBS called "Super Why" ... it's a fun little show that teaches letters, words and reading that she really gets into. I had been pondering many spiritual things in my tiny mind that morning as I struggled to fully awaken to the day. At one moment the show was focusing on the spelling of the word SING. Hi. I was really bummed when Steve sold all of his equipment including his Zen Drum. He said he was getting out of the buisness for a long time. But I knew he had so much music in him that it could not last forever. He wants me to come out and finish my 2nd album. So I am going to save my pennies and go see him. I think it will do us both a world of good. Keep praying for him. He is doing so much better now that he remarried.

we is loving you kid!!
We have not had a chance to look at the soaking page as you had requested, but you were right..... We have been given a great gift... people all ways say three things when we hit the "vain" so to speak that God has chosen us to move in when we minister... our music bring a great peace, it brings a realm of "the Glory" and it is calming and consecrating to people.

God moves in a special way when Lesley and I get plugged in to Heaven in Worship...... We re seeing mental, emotional and physical healings taking place with little or no human intervention..... Alters fill with no prompting and something wonderful happens..... People with in the sound of the worship can not stand and let things continue to be hidden that are consuming their heart and causing them to be unfruitful in life..... I mean "LIFE" Zoe life!!!! I often speak and minister after worship, some time during...what ever God leads us to do....

We are seeing people come up with all their "junk" bubbling to the top so to speak and walk away touched and feeling changed..... God is so good and we surly don't qualify or deserve to be serving the KING as we do We don't understand it, and we have stopped trying to..... we are just going with God as HE goes before us.......

Please pray for us, we are planning our tour starting on Jan. 10th in Michigan.
Pray that doors will open and we will go where HE alone wants us to be.....

Also, we were on the 700 Club Last August 2008, When we were on the 700 Club last August, 2008, it was a great thing to be part of. At the end of our piece, when Pat Robertson gave the call to salvation, over 450 called in to receive Christ in the first hour or so....... WOW!!! We were honored to be part of such a great time in so many peoples lives.....

The same video of us that was on the 700 Club, was posted on YouTube by CBN, and has been watched over 70,000 times.
I went in and started an account to talk to people and I have lead several to Christ who had believed that CBN made it all up, and that it was staged and that I was not even real...... well..... I think that I am.... I know that Jesus knows that I am real, and I know the devil dose too, because I been stepping on his head for almost 16 years now!!! I got saved on the back of our"make shift" tour bus, June 17th, 1994 at 3:30 AM!!!!!

Hi Brannon. Thank you for stopping by today. = ) It's funny because today my circumstances were getting the best of me with trying to get the house in order with needy kids, lack of sleep, no coffee (trying to ween off the stuff) and mood swings. lol. Why do we have to continue being so human. Shouldn't we have all of this figured out by now? Your comment reminded me that God is still faithful, He hasn't changed and to focus on Him today. Thank you friend.

For the most part we are very happy here and adjusting well. God has proven to us over and over that He wants us here. It was cold this morning, but the sun is now shining and it is a good day. = ) How are things with you? I hope you are smiling and radiating like your picture.
