About Me:
Experienced worship pastor/ educator / musician and writer. I'm a former session singer who has won an Addy for commercial singing and a couple of Emmy's for vocal arranging for TV. As a professor, I've taught many classes but am a commercial singing specialist - rock, jazz, country, r & b. What I like to do most is lead the church to the Throne of Grace, though! It's such an honor to be in His presence and worship Him. Daily trying to make myself less and Him more is a challenge but when I do it I know He smiles and I want Jesus to be pleased. Praise to Him who sits on the Throne. Worthy is the Lamb! Glad to join here and get to know some of my brothers and sisters whom God has called. I'm looking for a leading position full time if you know of one. God bless you all !
Favorite Music:
styles - gospel, r & b and jazz are my faves - but it's all good if it's done well!
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
Wow - do I have enough room? Romans 12:1 stands out and those promises the Lord gives us - to never leave us - to prosper us - to bless us - psalm 34 etc.

Thanks Charlie. Yeah.. I guess I grew up in Calvary Chapels.. Didn't really know it too young to notice I guess and when I was old enough to think about it.. I was trying to "run" from God. Anyhow, Love Song is awesome too by the way. I truly think they're one of the "fathers" of modern worship. I mean.. using a band to worship rather than a choir, and piano only. Also, I totally agree on the female vocals part.. She has won my heart and I do love hearing her run around the house singing.. "SHOWTT! to da Lord all the earsh let us Siiiiiiing!!!... Power Nnnn Majesty Pwaise to da King... Mountains bow down and the seeeeeeez will rawr at the souuuund of your naAAAme!!!!"
It's awesome. Then to hear her bust out singing praise music in Japanese just blows me away.. All my kids have taken to the language so fast. They're like walking sponges.. Plus they get these little japanese accents.. it's funny to see little American White kids walking around with Japanese accents. They don't even know their own culture. It's weird.. Well, thanks for your prayers..

In Christ,
