Heard any Good News lately?
Good News Praise Band is a Christ-centered, guitar-driven, and uplifting contemporary worship team from Southern California. Led by songwriters Don Maresh and Greg Doyle, Good News Praise Band has provided praise music for worship celebrations at Discovery Christian Church, in Moreno Valley, California, for almost twenty years. They have been blessed to record some of their original songs through the generosity of Pastor Robert M. Mink, the elders and staff, and the congregation.
Associate Pastor Don Maresh sings most of the leads for the group, with an occasional lead by Greg Doyle or Sabrina McCaskill. The band also features, flute, saxophone, and violin.

The original premise was to make a site where worship leaders could listen to a song, download a chord chart and teach it in their church. I had a song - I Will Stand - jump 500 points on CCLI just through this site alone.
We've since expanded it to featured CD's, Artists, Songs...
We've also added the ability to sell mp3's, rhythm charts, orchestrations, backing trax, whatever you can think of...
You can upload any video or audio format and it will play it...
We've also made it user friendly for non-musical folks by adding a playlist feature where you can make a playlist of your favorite songs and play it like a radio station. You can also email the playlist to other people. I use it for my worship team to send out the setlist and charts for songs.
Future items are a pay per view feature for educational videos, a more expanded social networking feature, blogging, etc. Right now it's really song focused.
If you write and record worship songs... I'd love it if you would upload your songs to the site.
I'd love your thoughts on the site as well...
Blessings...
