Profile Information

Musical Gift(s):
bass guitar, songwriting
About Me:
I'm a 28 year old deaf bass player (probably one of the few you'll ever meet!) who loves worshiping God through music! My husband and I both serve on the worship team at church-he is also a sound engineer for the ministry. I love serving with him each Sunday. God truly knew what He was doing when He put us together!

Non music related activities include serving when I can within the MRDD field, working (gotta pay those bills), and relaxing by playing video games, reading, or playing with our pets. I am currently awaiting the next phase in my career as well which involves going back to school. My hopes are to become involved in a health field related to physical therapy.

God has written quite an interesting story in my life so far and it just keeps getting better. :-D

To answer the question of how this is possible and whether I am truly considered "deaf" I can tell you this....without my hearing aides I hear very little. If a… Continue

God is really amazing and can use all of us no matter what! He is using me, a recovering addict to further his kingdom and he is using you despite your disability. I knew a young girl who was born without ears and years later became a gifted singer. YOu would never know she was hearing impaired. God is Great!!

Hi, I read your bio and I'm intrigued by this "deaf" bass guitar playing. So do you hear very little or nothing at all. I'm just wondering cuz you metioned a bunch of bands you like. My wife does sign lanquage at church so we have some deaf friends.
