For Kat, praise and worship is more than music; it is what she does in response to God's presence in her life. Her desire is that when she leads worship it will call others to worship and to experience the awesome work of God through His Holy Spirit.
She is a Worship Leader/Singer/Songwriter who's first passion is leading worship and who has been ministering in music for over 15 years. She is one of the worship leaders at her home church "Calvary Chapel Malibu" in Malibu, California.
Kat's prayer is to travel and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through her worship and to see many come to a saving knowledge of her Lord and Savior!
"Psalm 92:1-4 says: It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp, for you make me glad by your deeds, O Lord; I sing for joy at the works of your hands".

Thanks for the comments on the song, Kat. Robin Mark has been very influential to me; I think I've taught almost the entire Revival in Belfast album to my church over the years! I'm listening to your song "Spirit" right now - very soothing. Your voice has a touch of that smoky flavor - love it. Keep singing for Jesus!

Kat, It's a pleasure to "meet" you. Thanks so much for your kind words abotu "Be Still". That song was definitely born out of a time when Iwas absolutely restless wondering what God had for my future career, and trying to figure out how that correlated with my hopes and dreams...still trying to figure that out, but I guess it's a daily and life-long process and I'm learning the joy (and benefit) is perhaps in the seeking more than the finding! :-) Anyway, thanks for your comments!
Thanks for sharing this cool new site with me. I'm feeling my way through it. It's great. It'll be better once I'm more familiar with it ;).
Right now, I'm working on changing the rotating pics on the very top to my pic, but I don't know how, so I sent a note to Phil Williams. I'm sure he can help. :) xo
