Home Church:
DC Grace Fellowship, Springfield, VA
Musical Gift(s):
Worship Leader, Songwriter, Singer
About Me:
I'm lead vocalist in a worship band called "DC Grace.

We have recently come to a fresh revelation of Grace and of our Identity in Christ, and have started performing together sharing fresh New Covenant focused music. We'd like to get more serious in the near future, and find a few like minded musicians who'd like to fellowship and play together, making some fun exciting modern worship music.

We've played at church services and for a few conferences we're putting together in the area. Some of the songs we play are by: Hillsong, New Creation Church, New Breed, Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe etc. We are also writing some great original music which reflects our identity in Christ through the finished work of the cross, and would love to find musicians that have pro skills who'd like to explore and create fresh music that lifts up Jesus.
Favorite Music:
Chris Tomlin, Israel Houghton & New Breed, Jesus Culture, Matt Redman, Kari Jobe, Tasha Cobbs, and others
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
2 Corinthians 3:7-18 (NIV)
The Greater Glory of the New Covenant

"7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! 10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. 14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."

You may have heard about OSHA, the Occupational Safety & Health Administration.

OSHA is a US federal government agency that assures "safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance."

You may have also heard about YESHUA.

He is "the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now…

Deliverance from Wretchedness

We like to quote the apostle Paul at Romans 7:24 where he says:

"What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?"

But, that's not the end of the revelation.

He goes on to say at Romans 7:25 "Thanks be to God, who… Continue

Matthew 4:17-19 (MSG)

Walking along the beach of Lake Galilee, Jesus saw two brothers: Simon (later called Peter) and Andrew. They were fishing, throwing their nets into the lake. It was their regular work.

Jesus said to them, "Come with me. I'll make a new kind of fisherman out of you. I'll show you how to catch men and women instead of perch and bass." They didn't ask… Continue

Thanks for sharing the scripture passages.  You can't have too much of the Word of Truth and I know the verses you shared were hand-picked for me.  Thanks.

I enjoyed reading some of your blog posts and your profile. I felt encouragement from the LORD as I read. I have been in "ministry" of some sort for over 25 years--the majority of that time I was minister of music (part time, working a full time job also). A couple of years ago all that changed and I am currently unable to work due to a back injury. It is discouraging at times but as I said I found encouragement in your profile. I am trying to do something worthwhile in music even though I can't do what I used to do. I know God is not finished with me. Thanks for sharing from your heart and listening to God.

Thanks for the kind word about my music. I do enjoy collaborating. It's always nice to see where a song goes when others are involved. It's cool to hear that your thinking outside the box. God bless you today... craig
