New Easter Song - "Let us kneel at Calvary"

This is a brilliant new Easter song written by a friend of mine, Sam Hargreaves that traces the journey from cross to resurrection, unpacking some of the theological meaning along the way. You can download the lyrics, chords, piano score and mp3 all for free here on I think it's great, let me know what you think! :)

So who are we worshipping anyway? ... The forgotten Trinity

Picture the scene. It's a Sunday morning, we're in the local church of Anytown, and the worship leader has just finished a song; 'Lord Jesus, we thank you for your presence in this place, we love you Jesus, we glorify your name...' and softly the music builds and the vocals come in: 'It's all about you, Jesus...'

Later the pastor steps up and raises the energy levels: 'We're here because of Jesus! Let's give him the glory! It's time to commit ourselves again to him and his… Continue

hi matt, was @ spring harvest and found out about resound, how do i get involved ? is it possible to get a song evaluated or put on the site. I'm very keen on making any songs I've written freely available to anyone who wants to use them.

Please advise

Thanks Matt, I will give it a listen.. I appreciate the offer of free songs. Good for you about having convictions about lyrical content. May the Lord bless all of you in writing songs that glorify Him and take the Church deeper.
P.S. I was a missionary in the south east of England for 11 years. Ashford, Kent. I love to hear from my brothers and sisters in Britain.

Hey Matt

Thanks for making me a friend! Most of my worship involvement is with Christians in government (Westminster and other London regions being added as we speak) as well as with another organisation called Partnership potential also based mainly in London but will be going international come 2010! So if are interested in getting involved in our events (some are upcoming Easter and week of prayer with Parliament) do let me know!

Keep in touch and stay blessed brother!
