Musical Gift(s):
singing, guitar, minor percussion
About Me:
Playing guitar on Sunday Morning and Thursday practice is the highlight of my week. I only have time to practive during lunch in my office so my coworkers have to listen to the unamplified twang of my guitar...but they don't complain.

My Variax 300 (Warmoth neck, Earvana, 6 Steinbergers) is having noise problems or I'd be playing it. I run the guitar through a Line6 PODXTLive and a Roland GR-7 straight to DI box.
My backup is a Rogue Strat (which sounds surprisingly good!) with a Line6 Vax300 neck, Earvana nut and 5 Steinberger tuners (the low e tuner broke).
Favorite Music:
Phil Keaggy, Guardian, Pillar, Randy Stonehill, Disciple, Big Methuselah, Daniel Amos, Reliant K, Switchfoot, Kansas, Thin Lizzy, Bob Marley, Steely Dan, Toto, Journey, Foreigner, Van Halen
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
Lately it's Psalms 27:10 Even if my father and mother abandoned me, the Lord would take me in. My parents are great but I don't always feel like I fit in in a lot of places.

Puzzling question...to me anyway.

I'm not aware of any cases in the Bible where someone was healed or saved who wasn't interested in being healed. I suppose you might count children who were healed at their parents' requests, but I think it's safe to say that God hasn't given us a record where He's overridden someones free will.

So how would you go about praying for the restoration of a marriage when one of them either isn't a Christian or is at least a "fire insurance" christian? I mean you can pray that they would… Continue

hello Scott, thank you for taking cognizance of my comment. i am learning to post px yet. pls refer to the px i uploaded on my page-see the red guitar played by an ARMY Brigade lead guitarist MUSLIM soldier at my back, that's the one. he said the guitar sounds better than his (no gadget involved, just the endowment of an amplifier). it has 4 pickups and 2 volume knobs. i discoverd, when i play basstone, mechanically alternating knob at 0-3 oclock it produces a wah sound. i tried playing Santana's Samba Pa Ti on that mode and i just like it. i am sorry for misrepresenting that instead of 19 it is 22 frets guitar..

Hey Mr. Bubbles. How's it going? I've been rather lax around here. Running after 5 kids, 2 dogs and 2 birds has had me a bit distracted. But I love my life! Anyway... how's worship going? We're having some wonderful worship times here. I love the Spirit of God!

Hey Scott! Nice to meet you, brother. Haiti is definitely a place that will impact your life. The people & country are like no other. We've been here since Nov. 2006, and are career missionaries. My hubby is a pilot with MAF, and flies all over the country. Since you've been here, you know the need for safe & dependable transportation around Haiti. As for Global, I don't think they're working in Haiti anymore. I could be wrong about that, but I think E3 pulled out. Unfortunately, people are "results oriented", and it takes a long time to see solid evidence of change here. But, it does happen... one soul at a time. We can see how some missions & aide organizations get frustrated here, but we also see how God is moving. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you. Have an awesome day, and may God be honored & glorified in your life!

Ha... no. Those are my scarves. Though I do love a good browse through JoAnn's occasionally!

What a great God-lesson, because it's so true. I've seen myself in each and every perspective you wrote about. Right now I feel I'm in a position of understanding what it is to be a leader (not as in leading music). So, I've been challenged on those things that I thought I stood on, and now am standing on with a much firmer footing. KWIM? I would say the scarf I'm most like at the moment is either the coral or lime green because a brightness has come over me recently. Yet the blue indicates an open heaven, which I am tasting as well.

Interesting what you can find just by looking at a picture. :p

Oh, and I'm non-denom charasmatic. I think I'd stir the worship pot too much and get the boot in a Lutheran church. haha :)

BWAHAHAHAHA... Close!!! One of the students (wife, soon-to-be mom) had us in stitches when she described the lint in her husband's belly button, and how sin is like lint. It gets stuck and it's up to us to clean it out.

Your turn! Find something on my pic (be nice!!!) and give me a God-lesson.

LOL... thought you'd get a flipper kick out of it. When I was in Bible school, we had to pull a topic out of a hat, and in the time between the hat and the podium had to come up with a 1 minute God-lesson to share. Can you even guess what kind of lesson we got out of the word "lint"????
