About Scott Wesley (who wrote this?)
Scott Wesley Brown is a veteran Christian artist who's ministry began in the early 70's working along side of artists such as Keith Green, Larry Norman, Love Song and 2nd Chapter Of Acts.
In the 80's Scott's ministry turned more towards World Missions and bringing worship to the nations. His ministry brought hundreds of musical instruments to Christian musicians in third world and restricted access countries from Africa to eastern Europe. Scott helped organize the first Christian music festival behind the "Iron Curtain" and was the first artist to tour Cuba.
Scott has recorded 24 albums for a mixture of labels including Integrity, Sparrow and Word.
Through the years Scott has served as a worship pastor in several churches.
He currently serves at Fellowship Church in Burbank, California and continues his concert tours and conference schedule.

Can't Jesus Be Enough

The giant screens announced, “Caution: High Intensity Strobe Lights Used In This Service”. I mused that I had never seen such a warning posted at a church service before!

But in today’s church of the hi-tech gospel this may be all too familiar. One church spent in excess of one million dollars upgrading their lighting system to the latest state of the art quality that would rival any modern performance hall.

Other churches seeking to be a part of the…

Ask any serious College Basketball fan who is the greatest coach of all time and you will more than likely hear the name John Wooden. He is the first person inducted into the Basketball Hall Of Fame both as a player and as a coach!

As a coach he led the UCLA Bruins to victory in ten NCAA National Championships in a twelve-year span, a record unmatched by any other college coach. In 27 seasons under Wooden’s leadership the Bruins won 664 games!

One More Day In The Gym by: Scott Wesley Brown

I never had the privilege of meeting the late coach and Hall of Famer John Wooden who led the UCLA Bruins basketball team to ten NCAA national championships. But I feel like I’ve grown to know him through a staff member at my church whose husband played under Wooden along the side of such

basketball greats…

Where Worship Begins by Scott Wesley Brown

I really didn’t want to be there at the door. There were so many things I had to do to get ready for worship that Sunday morning. Greeting people at the front entrance was not my idea of getting prepared for the opening set of worship songs. All I could think of was, did everyone have the song sheets in the right order? Did the singers have enough rehearsal time to get those harmonies down tight? Was that monitor going to keep buzzing… Continue

Or perhaps the time stamp is coming from wherever this web site is based, because my time stamp also says tomorrow.  I am a computer guy and should not be confused by this...

Wow you must be overseas.  Its tomorrow there wherever you are!  I did not catch that summit last year, maybe this year I can try to attend.   I am writing some modern hymns and uploaded an Easter song on the Easter group.  I lead for a group that loves hymns and we do at least one per week. I will look for the project by you and Billy Smiley!

Aloha, Scott, this past week "Keep The Son In Your Eyes" came up on our playlist 2 or 3 times. Just gotta tell you how much I like that song The voice is pure and the message is so full of compassion. It still makes the same impact as when I first heard it - uhh, was that in the 70's? or 80's? Anyway, mahalo for that song.

Howzit, Scott! Just a short note to tell you my wife came home from work yesterday and told me "My Treasure" came up on the car mp3 player and your voice and the song brought tears to her eyes! She said, who sings that? And I said, oh, just some friend of mine..." :) Have a blessed weekend! It's sunny and bright here in Oregon today! (A special event for me!)

Aloha Scott, your new music is terrific, still so full of heart and soul. I grew up with "My Treasure" and "Keep The Sun In Your Eyes" among my favorites. I remember being blown away by your voice and how your music truly touched the spirit. My brother used to attend Scottsdale Bible Church and said you were the worship leader there for a while. I thought that was so cool! When he came to visit me I pulled out my old LP and showed it to him!

Whatever happened to that song "Yeshua Ha Mashia" (spelling?) from the late 70's or early 80's? That song was a real blessing to me when I was a teenager.
