Story behind the song ... The First Time

Posted on June 14, 2009 at 5:57am 1 Comment

How this song came about was completely out of a blue. I never expected to write a song that day and especially in the early morning. So here an account of how I came to writing this song ...

I woke up yesterday morning, showered and was feeling really lethargic. It was a really cold morning and I wasn't up to doing anything. So I made myself a cup of really hot coffee, sat at my work desk and surfed Youtube watching some Gary V.'s music videos. There was this one particular video… Continue

Wow! ... What a week! What a tiring week! Although I didn't do much, but a lot has happened. I'm sure most of ya have already heard about the bushfire tragedy that happened over at Victoria, Australia. For those of you who didn't or haven't, well death toll so far is at 181 and counting. If you want to know more, do Google it.

I also went for an interview for a managerial position at a bookstore. Yeah, some of you might think I've caved in finally and decided to work instead of… Continue

Story Behind The Song - One Thing I Ask

Have you ever felt that sometimes you complicate the things of God too much and you take a step back and realize that actually it's so simple. Many times we don't even understand the simplest things of God, yet we expect to achieve bigger things for His Kingdom.

No ... This is not a rebuke to anyone. I'm sure all of you reading this are walking in His will and achieving His perfect plan for you :P As for me, there's still so many things for God to work out in my life. But like I've… Continue

Story Behind The Song - Talk To Me

Lately everything has been spinning out of whacked. Although the Holy Spirit has inspired a lot of revelations in my heart, I was kinda distracted and was focusing on something else.

It's not easy to say you want to serve God full-time when you know you have a family and children that depends on you financially. Even more so than now, knowing that my parents is loaning me their entire life's savings to get a house. Causes so much anxiety whenever I think about it. Even their friends… Continue

Hey ya!! Check out www.worshipfuel.com Worship Fuel is branch off CCLI and is designed to be a place where we can practically help and serve and be a central hub for all things Worship in Australia. An online community where churches/ worship leaders/Bands can come and learn, get support, ask questions but most importantly connect with other worship leaders and build the spirit of worship in Australia

Thanx for the message... That's cool you have friends that have been here for so long. I'm not familiar with their orphanage but there are about 2000 missionaries in the Chiang Mai area so there's a lot going on there. If you ever come through please come visit us here in the Bangkok area...

nice. May God bless you and use you man. And may your music reach out for His glory. I've been writing and composing stuff but have never really thought about recording it professionally. Not yet. But I'm working on sequencinn some of my songs, recording it like a demo and putting it on the net. When you open my page, you'll hear a song. I wrote that and did the music for that, except the lead. Do check it out

You're very welcome, we all need to be encouraged. Of course as musicians we're so sensitive. LOL.

It is amazing how people have pulled together and helped through this tragic time. In Cranbourne, the area I live all the churches got together and have been donating resources and money. Australia is an amazing country. We unite together when difficult times come. Australia has raised, $171, 000, 000. Amazing amount. I have been thinking recently, imagine what the nation could do if they knew Christ, the thought blows my mind.
