About Me:: I lead songs for God at The Edge Christian Fellowship in Minnesota. We like to say we are Church for people who don't like church ... but end up loving it. I love The Edge and what is happening here. And I'm so grateful for what God has done in my heart since we launched the church in 2003.
I started leading the band for our church's recovery program in 2005 and moved into the role of Edge worship director about 6 months later. It's been a blast - I absolutely love it!

I am the mother of a beautiful, high-energy, strong-willed six-year-old (y'all should try this someday), and wife to my pastor (great guy, great leader, great husband). I earned a creative writing degree back in the day, so it was natural that I started writing songs in 2008. I've got some home recordings now, thanks to a "snowball" mic I got for Christmas! Three cheers for Garageband!
I am also writing a novel for teens.

Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:: With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers this should not be. James 3:9-10

Burnsville is a bit of a hike and you caught me on a really busy weekend unfortunately or I'd love to come meet you and hear you in person ... Incidentally, I'm playing at Maple Grove Northwestern in March, a benefit to rebuild a church in Sudan that was destroyed by the militia. We have a small church with a really big heart for Sudan.
Haha, my daughter just came in from her "nap" and says the dog is doing so good on her bed. Maybe I need to log off now!!

Michael (my hubby) actually spent the summer we were engaged in the Philippines. It's a beautiful place, with beautiful people.
