I am blessed! I'm married to a Godly, wonderful man and have 5 beautiful children. (They all get on my nerves sometimes, but I guess I'll keep them! ;) I have obeyed the gospel by being baptized into Christ in His name, and filled with His Spirit. He is number one in my life! I'm a night person. Seems like I really wake up and get all my good ideas at night. I love Italian food. I enjoy the finer things of life, but I'm not too uppity to get my hands dirty. I enjoy a great cup of quality hot tea, and I'm a tea consultant for Let's Do Tea. I like to read, and also enjoy watching funny or music clips on youtube. I love a good ol' Arkansas thunderstorm, but I'm not too fond of snow or cold! Love travelling...I like all sorts of activities, but my favorite is definitely anything involving music. (My husband doesn't quite understand how I can spend hours playing or singing.) Nothing can compare with coming into the presence of the Lord with song! To feel Him surrounding you as you lift your talent to Him...WOW! Awesome! I was raised on music from two different ends of the spectrum...southern gopel/bluegrass (my dad) and classical (my mom). I've sung lots of different styles, such as southern gospel, country, black gospel, old forties style music, jazz, etc. I like to come up with different arrangements of a piece. I've composed music for hundreds of scriptures for Bible Quizzing. I love singing with people who are really into great harmony and rhythm, and have dedicated that to the Lord. It's awesome to find a good blend! I was raised in a musical family and brought up to use my talents for the Lord. If the Lord leads, I would like to help struggling music departments in churches to get on their feet.
Just about any style, except for this new two or three note praise music. Anything with a little flavor, not your same ol', same ol'. I don't listen to secular music much, but I'm not clueless as to what's out there. I prefer music that's uplifting and glorifies the Lord. Some of my favorite artists include Andrae Crouch, Winans, Natalie Grant, Nicole C Mullen, J Moss, Kirk Franklin, Bryan Duncan, The Martins, Nancy Grandquist, Melanie Elms (she's got some great praise music for church), Xample....the list could go on and on and on.
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
This could go on forever, too, but here are some favorites:
*For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
*The whole book of James
*The story of Samson (God recently revealed something awesome to me through this)

Hey Valerie, good to see you on here. Yes, it is another site to try to keep up with but it's been very helpful to me. You all did an excellent job on these songs! These are different from the ones you have on your other site, aren't they? How've you been? We just got back from BOTT and saw the Skowrons there. Brought back wonderful memories of all of us hanging out and singing together. We should try to take a trip out there around the same time.
I've been busy as usual trying to keep up with everything plus I've been taking Tabitha to a lot of dr's appts but believing she's healed in Jesus' name! They found a problem in her kidney but I know God touched her last Sunday when we prayed. She's been feeling better since then. I won't get the test results back for a couple weeks but I'll update you when I do.
