Daily Bread: I John 4:1-6 (NASB)

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you… Continue

Daily Bread: Habakkuk 2:1-3 (NASB)

I will stand on my guard post and station myself on the rampart; and I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me, and how I may reply when I am reproved.  Then the Lord answered me and said, "Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run.  For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. … Continue

How I Connected With Incubator

by: Shine Morrison

I first connected with Incubator Creative Group in the Fall of 2003, in the midst of my growing apprehension toward the music industry. But before I tell you what I mean by 'apprehension,' let me share how I became a singer/songwriter.

I was a very quiet child. A lot of people wouldn't believe me today, especially my husband! But…

Fire And Judgment

Isaiah 66:

15  "For behold, the LORD will come in fire, and his chariots like the whirlwind, to render his anger in fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

16  For by fire will the LORD enter into judgment, and by his sword, with all flesh; and those slain by the LORD shall be many.

Hebrews 9:

27  And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,

28  so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins…

Why Are you here?

As the title suggests, this is a question we should all ask ourselves from time to time. Why am I here? Now, the direction you take this question has multiple different possibilities. Why am I here on this planet, in this town, in this relationship, in this church? These are all valid questions but the one I am most interested in is, why are you here in this service? Why do you come to church on Sunday morning? What makes you continue coming back?

I have the opportunity to be…

Grumpy Fish now Happy Fish?

A recent article I read asserts that an alarming amount of drugs for humans are winding up in the environment, in this case fish in the St. Lawrence river.

Anti-depressants found in fish

"...leading scientists to wonder if the "happy hormone" is altering the lifestyle of the chronically grumpy-looking marine animals."

Honoring God in Our Work – Part 1

I recently received this email and felt it was a good topic to share in some posts.

I was asked from the church that my family and I attend, to do a study and share at our winter bible school on how to honor God at work. I came across your site and what a blessing. I have never stood in front of 400 people before to share Gods word, and I really battle as to what chapter and verses to use ( referring to our jobs ). I spent a lot of time in prayer…

Where I worship, we discussed how Christians talk alot about financial prosperity or financial blessings in Christ.

This is true. God put all blessings in the Christ! You are blessed by Him when you receive money. So praise God, rejoice, and be glad! (Ephesians 1:3)

But, Yeshua (Jesus) also told us about other things that make us blessed. We…

Trials of many kinds.

Last Tuesday, my husband's grandma passed away after suffering a heart attack and a stroke on 23rd December. Our Christmas and New Year celebrations were very subdued. Last Thursday,my Mum passed away very suddenly and I spent her final hours watching her literally fighting for breath. I am half way through an intensive teaching course and am absolutely overwhelmed with it all. Teaching is God's plan for my life - He revealed it to me and has fetched me through and over many obstacles to get…

New Day Dawning

I am excited to share with you the news about a brand new awesome album. It is called "New Day Dawning" by Joey Stontz. The song called "Love or Prostitution" is really deep and all about the song writer's devotion and longing to choose God above all else. I want to motivate people who loves…
