The Holy Spirit was present in all three churches, ministering to very… Continue

Soundcraft MH2 Versus Allen & Heath GL2400

Hi Folks

Just wondering have any of you guys any experience with either or preferably both of the above MH2 or GL2400 mixing desks or similar. We have an Allen & Heath GL2000 at our church and its getting old now and a few channels are faulty and we are thinking of investing in a new mixing desk. The GL2000 has 24 channels so we are thinking of upgrading to 32 channels. We mainly use it for just live music and recording talks on Ubercaster. We have 3 Compressors and a Graphic…

What Nationality was Jesus?

What Nationality was Jesus?

Anonymous (New Yorker?)

He went into his father's business

He lived at home until he was 33

He was sure his Mother was a virgin, and his Mother was sure he was God

He never got married

He was always telling stories

He loved green pastures

My Full Time Job

My full time job is not being a government employee.

My full time job is forgiving.

Matthew 18:21-35, NIV

"21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, 'Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?'

22 Jesus answered, 'I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times."…

In Christ I Can Do All Things...

... on my own I get burned out.

Lurking In The Shadows

Since 2004 I've been leading worship at a local church plant.

Sandwiched in between national forest and hundreds of square miles of housing developments we still haven't found a building to rent so we're still without a permanent home.

What does that mean? Let me… Continue

What Are Heavenly Treasures?

From the back of the van on our way home from camp I hear my daughter say, "Dad when Jesus says don't store up treasures on earth but store up treasures in heaven... what are the treasures in heaven?"

Of course all I'm thinking about is how much of my mind has been wrapped around giving and how much of my heart has been consumed with getting over the last few weeks...

I naturally went into a… Continue

Kids Worship Leading Advice

I'm 21yrs old and just got an internship with my church. The internship involves helping out around the church, leading worship for a ministry targeted for 18-25ish yr olds and also they plan to have me lead worship for youth (4th-5th grade)

As far as leading worship for 18+ adults it seems to come natural and I love doing it. I usually do the avg Chris Tomlin songs and what not and we write our own praise music too, we will add our own touch to covers of…
