A Living Sacrifice - Part 1

I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Romans 12:1 (Amplified Bible)

The term sacrifice is not to be taken lightly. In the Old Testament time, the offering of animals had to be… Continue

Its Always Rainy In Scranton

If its always sunny in Philadelphia then it is certainly always rainy in Scranton. In fact, we have tallied up a whopping 37.56 inches of rain fall (not including snow) this year and I'm convinced that we saw the majority of that in June and July. Nothing is quite so depressing as a rainy day and its easy to get bent out of shape when our picnic plans have been delayed or the backyard project that we hoped to tackle has to wait till next… Continue

I like this word: Inspiration!… Continue

Noah's RV

I don't know if anybody will read this, but felt pressed to post this on here...especially since I feel WTR is a safe place for me to do so. Before putting what I need to put on here, I must give some back ground information to anybody that stumbles upon this and doesn't know me.

First, I used to be a worship leader and active participant in the worship ministry. I stepped out of that about a year and a half ago due to some emotional blows from our church. Second, my husband, who was… Continue

CDs in the mail!

Yesterday I brought my newly mastered CD to Accupress, a comany that will be doing the artwork for my new CD, "Glorious Songs". It should only take a couple of days to approve the work and then it'll be sent off for replication. They're telling me a 12 to 14 day turnaround before I'll get my CDs shipped to my front door. Can't wait!

Our Amazing God

This past Sunday evening, 6 September, it was my turn and privilege to lead worship.

In our practice time on Sunday afternoon, nervousness like I have never felt before overtook me. I was even more nervous than my first time leading worship.

We finished our practice and went to pray, as we usually do before the service.

I prayed that God would calm all nerves and take away any worries and distractions. But I also thanked God that I was nervous, because it’s in my weakness, in my… Continue

Back in the Studio!

Just started working on my full length worship album, with Stellar award winnging, Grammy nominated producer Daniel Weatherspoon! This record is really going to feature heartfelt, spirit-led worship, through songs that I've written in the past year and a half. I'm excited for what the next few months have in store in the studio, and my prayer is that our King is glorified and people are brought into God's presence through this album. I'll keep you posted on the progress!!

Be Still

Back in the early 90’s I spent every dime I had to my name to go to this conference on how to get rich. In that conference, they drove home this mentality that we have to be like rhinoceroses. Thick skinned. Focused straight ahead. Crash through everything. Don’t let ANYTHING get in your way of becoming wealthy. After that conference, I began applying those principles to my life. I determined in my mind I would be successful and these principles would get me there. No matter what, I was going… Continue

Light & Salt Submission

"You who are servants, be good servants to your masters—not just to good masters, but also to bad ones. What counts is that you put up with it for God's sake when you're treated badly for no good reason. There's no particular virtue in accepting punishment that you well deserve. But if you're treated badly for good behavior and continue in spite of it to be a good servant, that is what counts with God.

This is the…

When you grow up in Seattle, it rains a lot. However, you can still tell when the seasons change. I always looked forward to the fall. I love the colors changing around me, the crispness in the air, and the anticipation that Christmas is not that far away.

When you live in California, there seem to be 2 seasons....Hot and cool. Not so much cold. I know cold, and I'm sorry...70 degrees is NOT COLD. Sooooo...I miss the seasons. It does get fallish here in N. Cal., but it's not the… Continue

Spotify, iPhones & The US

I've been following the Spotify iPhone application submission with interest and on August 28th Spotify announced that Apple have now approved their application. It will be very interesting to see how this changes purchase behaviour and if people prefer to pay a one off monthly fee to access as much music as they want.

To see what the iPhone app will look like you can watch the video… Continue

I found a file hosting site that would allow me to upload a file that was 60MB. So now if you go to Psalm 19 Records, you can download In the Shadows in mp3 format at anytime. Thanx.
