" 'Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. '

'I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.'

The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let him who hears say, 'Come!' Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.' " (Revelation 22:14-17, NIV)

The other day I heard someone on TV talking about "star power."

They were talking about how celebrities or stars have influence.

For example, when a company wants to sell a product, it's not uncommon for them to hire a star as the spokesperson.

They think that we'll believe the star and buy their product.

Stars even use their influence for causes and in politics and global affairs.

Yeshua (Jesus) is the bright Morning Star.

He does not have influence.

He has all authority!

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him by His Father. (Matthew 28:18)

I don't need influence.

He has given me His authority to make disciples in His name.

He has given me His authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. (Matthew 10:1)

He has given me His authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy and not be harmed. (Luke 10:19)

His Spirit lives in me. (2 Timothy 1:13-14)

The bright Morning Star is Star Power!
