I live to give God glory and to make Him known in this world! I love spending time with family and my brothers/sisters in Christ. I am also passionate about reaching out to the unchurched in my sphere of influence as well as caring for those in need.

Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
Not to us, O LORD, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness -Psalm 115:1
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. - Romans 12:1-2

Steven, after reading your bio about liking authentic worship, have you heard of Sovereign Grace Music? They write God centered songs, unlike alot of the popular songs circulating in most churches today. Check them out. They have a broad spectrum of CD's out. I like the ones more suited for corporate worship. ie. "Worship God live", "Songs for the cross centered life", "Valley of vision" and "Come weary Saints". They have alot of other stuff too. Here's their website. http://www.sovereigngracemusic.org/albums
If you give them a listen, let me know what you think. (you can listen to each song on their website)
Yeah, I heard initially that Valerie and Cassandra were going to be there, but then I heard later that you were there too! Cynthia was at a friend's baby shower and I had already planned a gaming party on that day, so we didn't make it. Would have been good to see you guys again, though.
Things are going well. We're still commuting from northwest Houston, but we're hoping to find the right place soon. We have a pretty low budget so finding an affordable place to live is a struggle, but we've got a few possibilities that should solidify in the next week or so. We'll see.
The church seems at a really healthy place right now. Not a lot of physical growth, but there seems to be some good spiritual growth. We really like pastor Rudy and Chad (the youth pastor) and my leadership style seems to work really well with the congregation.
Once we get a place down there, I hope to get with you and Misty. We haven't forgotten, we just don't live down there yet.
How are things at Baybrook? Got any big Christmas plans?
Hope to see you soon,
